Exciting Opportunity for Aspiring Youth League Umpires!

Gear Up for the Game!

Are you ready to take your love for baseball to the next level? We're rolling out an exclusive umpire training program for enthusiastic young individuals who are eager to learn the ropes of umpiring. This is your chance to take leadership, be right in the heart of the action, make crucial calls, and be a pivotal part of every game!

Who can Umpire

Anyone 14 years or older can join the umpire squad! Even if your 14th birthday is during the season, you're welcome to participate in the training. Just remember you can only start umpiring from your birthday. 

What to Expect

Working Papers

If you completed a working paper in the past, then you do NOT have to complete one again. For all others, a copy of the working papers will be sent to you directly after you sign up.

 

Orientation & Training

 

Date: March 2nd & 3rd

Time: 1pm-2:30pm on both days

Where:  Gero Park Clubhouse,  357 White Oak Ridge Road

You must attend at least one session to qualify.

- If you're new to umpiring, or haven't attended our training before, you'll need to attend and stay for at least one full session.  Stay tuned for upcoming announcements on training dates and locations.

- Seasoned umpires (16+, with at least 2 consecutive years of experience) can attend one session, focusing on the opening remarks and essential updates like rainout notifications.
